I've been commissioned to make a sword like the massive weapon in St. George's Chapel, Windsor.
Apart from a few distant pictures, the overall length, and my customer's clandestine hilt measurement, I have little to work from. Is anyone able to point me to any published research on this sword?
Thanks for your findings Richard, that's the one. As it was of similar size. I looked at the Pier Gerlofs Donia sword for a few clues. This job is certainly a challenge.https://www.facebook.com/TimHarrisSwords
