Another beauty Maciej, your work is so impressive! Congratulations. There are a few swords on your website that have caught my eye but they don't have scabbards. Do they come with each sword as a set or are they by request?
Thanks

I had thought of buying this one because the blade and dimensions are really great and the originals in that style are some of the most beautiful single handed swords in existence to me, but...

1) The scabbard's decoration and it being so red doesn't quite resonate with me.

2) The handle wrap really doesn't resonate with me.

3) I fell in love with long swords again before I made the jump and decided to get the Marienburg Longsword instead. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I saw one of the originals with that shape in the Royal Armouries in Leeds a few weeks ago and almost jumped with joy when I noticed it in the "Hunting" section instead of "Medieval". Stunning sword, even with heavy patina and a few centuries old. Simple, yet elegant and beautiful, and even more impressive in person. I have no doubt that you did a great job of conveying that.

This is a type that's grown on me over the years, particularly that pommel. This particular example hits for me on virtually every point. If I ever find myself feeling financially secure again (been a rough 4 1/2 years...), one of your creations will find its way to Spring, Texas - likely a Type XiV. If I feel REALLY secure, then there may be more than one! Whatever type you set your mind to making, you seem to really nail it. I love the swords I already have, but most of them are "production" swords - high quality, but, still, production. There's a certain feeling of sterility that comes with that choice - too perfect, too polished. Your works all seem more organic and have greater depth of character.

I pray you will be in this field for a very long time - and that I can finally give some of your art a home.
