I've never heard of the name, but it sound Arabian, I might recognize it.

It's a line of functional mid-price katana associated with TrueSwords.com. Link here.

There was a discussion on Reddit last year where they asked for requests and suggestions before launching the new line.

Looks like they have two models of katana. Here's a link to one...

They advertise a differentially tempered blade of T10 steel. A katana with a 13 inch handle is what really piqued my interest though

Well, after scouring the internet, and asking here, I can find no reviews for these swords. I went ahead and took the plunge...and a review will be forthcoming...
