Hello all,
Brad Rangell and I are proud to launch our new study group, Long Island Historical Fencing Society. Dedicated to the Lichtenauer tradition of Historical Europe Martial Arts ('HEMA') and focusing primarily on the German Longsword, LIHFS holds classes in Queens and Woodbury and is actively seeking new students and practitioners to join us. We are not SCA or LARP, we are students of the sword and other weapons used in medieval times. Please contact us at 631 780 4682 for more information or to sit in on a class...
Regards,
Michael Capanelli

Great to see more people getting into HEMA!
While I won't be getting over to your neck of the woods anytime soon, my group is affiliated with a study group in New Jersey. I can pass this on to them if you're interested in getting a chance to practice with them sometime.
