This will be the last of my collection that I'll be selling off for a while.
This is a sword that built for myself using some production and prototype parts. The castings are the original set that were used for the prototype of what was supposed to become a limited edition.
They ended up back in my hands after getting to their third owner, and I made this sword for myself. I believe that only 5 or 6 sets of these casting were ever made, and this is the only one of its kind with this blade configuration. The other 4 or 5 sets were mounted by Jody with a leaf-blade and different grip.
The blade in this sword was originally a "Conan Destroyer" that I cut-down and reshaped to fit these bronzes. The grip is spiral bound leather lace, and has been intentionally antiqued. The blade has been sharped with a semi-blended edge in which the grit direction flows with the rest of the blade's finish. Lastly, the ricasso has been electro etched with the rune design that was originally intended for the limited edition.
