last year i bought two francisa from albion. both are black coated: one is a glossy black, while the other has a matte finish. the axe-heads weigh six pounds each. i put the matte finished axe on a haft that is 26 inches long, and the other glossy finished one is on a haft that is 18 inches long. both hafts are made from striped maple. i make a practice of soaking the heads before i throw them. this makes them extremely tight. i would recomend you do the same, especially if you live in a dry environment.

they throw very well, and they're devastating when they hit. i've shattered some 2x4's with these. they're a lot of fun. despite this, i want to get rid of them. i bought the heads for 25 dollars each, and i put in a few hours on each haft. so i'd be willing to part with them for 30 dollars each, plus shipping. i'm willing to negotiate, pm me. check or money order, sorry that i can't do paypal.
