This is a custom made katana forged by Rick Barrett and mounted and polished by Brandon Thell. This blade shows nice little clusters of nie through out the blade with much ashi showing when holding it in person. Many blades Brandon polishes are good for cutting and this blade would be one heck of cutting sword. The tsuka wrap style you see resembles wraps done for high ranking samurai. The lower part of the saya under the ribbing has a flowing water like patern done with silver dust. This was hard to capture in the photo. Reasonable offers will be considered.
