For Sale:
Antique Scottish Powder Horn

This is an antique scottish,?, flat powder horn that I purchased via an E-bay auction (Relicman), where it was being sold as part of an old estate sale. The horn's pouring snout is in the decorative shape of an animals head, inlayed with what may be ivory (?) around its hole and the creatures eyes. It features a decorative spine & belly, and is in excellent shape.
The piece bears a tag that indicates it was formally pictured in a Gun magazine in the 1970's, and is Scottish, selling for $245.00 back in the day. Overall the horn is in excellent condition, with only one small crack (pictured) near its end cap.
It measures approx 7" inches, 2-3/4" wide at end, and roughly 7/8" thick. This is a very neat piece.

Asking Price: $400.00

Payment: Paypal preferred (+ 3% fees), or money order, Shipping included.
