I have for sale a "High Ridge Norman" helm made for SCA heavy combat. This helm was made by Eric Paetow, a local SCA armor with over 16 years experience. It is very solidly constructed, and attractive. Really a nice design. The helm was bought new in September and used once, before I decided that I wanted to focus exclusively on building a living history quality kit, and not fight in the SCA. The helm has some small areas of pitting from the day I fought with it. They aren't a major eye sore, but if you are looking for the absolute perfect polish, this isn't it. A little elbow grease might get them out though, I haven't tried. The top of the helm is 12 gauge mild steel, and the side plates are 14 gauge. The helm also has a mild steel nasal. All in all in good condition, although not perfect. Custom sized to my head, which is 23'', should fit most heads depending on padding, as mine is pretty average
