Up for grabs is a long out of production MRL Baselard sword. Made by Windlass, this was only in a few of the early 2000s catalogs and then gone. Gear specifically for Swiss Pikemen is tough to find and this is iconic to the Swiss as the Katzbalger is to the Landesknecht. Overall is 29" with a 24" blade that weighs in at 1lb 8 oz and comes with a utility knife and skewer that fit nicely on the side of the scabbard. POB is 6 1/4" and is light and fast...good for cut or thrust. Condition is excellent and original talc from the scabbard can still be seen in the pics. Blade is very sharp.
