Looking to sell one of Universal Swords’ royal Damascus tulwar. Purchased from KOA a little over one month ago (received 1/15/18). Sword, scabbard and display box are in pristine condition from the retailer if not better. (I have removed some oxidation from hand moisture as well as repair the tassel, which arrived damaged, but aside from that it has remained untouched). Never been sharpened or used to test cut, still has the blunted edge usual to swords shipped from India. This one is displayed on the Universal Swords website along with other handmade Indian sabers, you can see a picture of the unit on the linked page. It is beautifully decorated with koftgari silver inlay, the locket, chape and hilt are made of tool steel. Scabbard is soft red velvet with wood core, the blade is either the usual EN9 or 1055 Universal uses, I am not sure but I have emailed Aarvind Chouhan. It was listed as battle ready on KOA, the blade feels nicely secure. Includes velvet padded display case.

Looking for around 650-700$ but willing to bargain, leave shipping up to me.

Tang, like most Tulwar, is trapped halfway into the hilt by pitch. In this case, it is very tough and harder than stone.
