Up for sale is a well kept Hanwei practical viking sword. These are getting very hard to find. I have owned this sword for 6 years but very seldom give it a second glance, so it's time to find it a new home.
This is the earlier generation with sought after genuine wood scabbard.
The blade has seen some light contact sparring , and the edge does shows a few dings . This is NOT an abused reenactment weapon with shredded edges like so many of these are.
The hilt components are also in excellent condition. Leather wrap has a few scuffs. In drier weather the guard just barely,barely has a bit of play in it as the wood core handle contracts.
Scabbard fittings are tight and in excellent shape. The wood finish has some scratches and blemishes. Blade still fits snuggly.
