Thought long and hard about this one. But I am not using so it might as well go to someone who will.
This is a sword blade that I had made for me by Peter Lyon (yep, he of Lord of the Rings sword fame), in 1995.

Peters swords do not come up for sale very often!

This is hilted as a Spatha at the moment, but you could have it rehilted anyway you like.
I made the hilt for this and the pommel and guard are made from bronze.

The blade is the hardest substance known to man! This thing eats other blades for breakfast yet is flexible as well. I asked Peter what he made this from and he cannot remember. But he must have got the hardening and tempering perfect on this one.

This is a 27 year old blade and does have some stains and etching on the blade from old rust. This was my main sword back in the day, so was used all the time, come rain, hail or shine, and whilst I always cleaned and oiled it it is 27 years old. There are no major nicks to the blade and very few little tiny ones. The blade is still as straight as the day I got it.

It comes with the scabbard, again made by me. This is two thin pieces of ply with a covering of cloth soaked in glue and wrapped around multiple times. I then made the bronze hardware for it. It was broken on the front a few years ago and a quick fix was done with fibreglass as per the photos. You could cover with glue and cloth to hide this if you wanted.

Blade Length=79.5cm
Overall Length=96.5
Weight= 1.15kg (Remember it does have solid bronze fittings on it)
