Folks,

I'm looking for a pair of the old MRL bec-de-corbin
style pollaxes. If any of you have one--or better, two
--of these that you'd like to sell, please PM me.

Best,

Mark Millman

Thanks for the good wishes.

I'm kicking myself because I didn't
think to look here sooner and so missed
the chance to buy yours.

Mark,

You might check with this outfit:

http://www.swordsofhonor.com/becdecorbin.html

I dont really know anything about them but they still list it for sale albeit "discontinued".

I too was looking to get one the MRL Bec De Corbins a while back but ended up buying one of their English War Hammers, of which I am very pleased.

Please post if you find someone still selling them.

Good Luck!

Brent,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd looked at Swords of Honor
earlier, but didn't contact them because of that "discontinued"
label. I'll give them a try.

I've also considered buying one of the war-hammers and
having it modified, if I can't find any more becs.

I'll post if I find anything.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Dear David,

Thanks for suggesting Dopey Dragon; their
warhammers, especially the h2 and h3, look
very promising as substitutes for the bec.

I appreciate your taking the time to recommend
them.

Best,

Mark,

We were just contacted by a blacksmith/weapons maker from Missouri that will be one of the vendors at our June faire. He says that he makes warhammers and Becs. Let me get the info from my wife and I will send you his email.

Lloyd-

If he has pics or a website, could you post for all of us? Would appreciate it!

Lloyd,

I'm very eager to hear more about the weapon-smith
you mentioned. If you can find his contact information,
please do post it.

Still don't have the info on the blacksmith - he disappeared and the number we have on him is disconnected.

But, there is a pair for sale on AA: http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/viewto...407#546407 I have a PM in on one of them.
