The helmet from Giecz is a handforged reconstruction of the 10-11th century Polish helmet by Thorkil. It can be viewed at http://www.thorkil.pl/giecz2_eng.htm . The helmet is made to fit a large sized 63 cm circumference head. It has been used twice in historical re-enactment battles and is made to cope with the rigors of head blow combat. A small rust mark and a tiny battle mark are visible in the photograph otherwise the helmet is as good as new. I hope somebody can use this helmet as it's a great piece of equipment and a rare opportunity to get something made by Thorkil for such a reasonable price. I'm looking for offers around £500 for this helmet and if you are interested please message me. Postage within the United Kingdom would be included in the price and could be negotiated for mainland Europe or even worldwide.
