This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

This is a high quality reproduction of an 18th Century British infantry hanger. The blade and guard were made for Williamsburg and are of very high quality. Hand forged blade is 27 1/2" long and has a nice distal taper. There is a makers mark on the outboard side of the blade and the name "Hadley" is stamped on the spine. I replaced the poorly done wire wrapped grip with a very nice spiral cast grip made back in the '70's. The guard has a rack number of 34 stamped on the underside (see photos). All hilt parts have a nice patina consummate with their age. Overall length of the sword is 33 1/4" and weight is about 2lbs. 2 oz. The sword does not have a scabbard.

Price is $220 plus $15 shipping in CONUS. PayPal preferred.
