I am offering this damascus katana blade for a friend of mine. He had originally bought it as a bare blade (it never had any tsuba or grip) for a project but never did anything with it.
I do not know who makes it, but I was informed it came from Japan (of course that is not for sure) and it has a different mei forged into both sides of the blade near the habaki. Overall, it is 35 1/2" long with a blade length (including the habaki) of a little over 28".
He is asking $275 or best offer plus shipping.
