For Sale: Phoenix Metal Creations Bastard Sword
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

The sword for sale is the same sword that was review by Bill Grandy here: http://www.myArmoury.com/review_pmc_bast1.html

You can also see more pictures of it in Bill's collection photos: http://www.myArmoury.com/bill_swor_pmc_bast1.html?28

I have also attached some very bad, quickly taken photos.

I bought this Erik Stevenson piece from him a couple years ago and now it's time for it to move on to a new owner.

I'm asking $1000 even. Shipping included. Paypal payment preferred. I won't charge any extra for a paypal processing fee. A check is acceptable but I will wait until the check clears before I send the sword out. No trades.

Stats are as followed. PM me with any interest.

Overall length: 44.25"
Weight: 3.5 pounds
Width of guard: 9"
Blade: 35.25" long; 1.75" wide tapering to 1.25"
Grip length: 6.5"
Point of Balance (PoB): 4" from guard
Center of Percussion (CoP): ~21.5" from guard

Thinking about it. How rigid is the blade? The review says it has a thin cross section. Any insight?

Hi Tony,

The ATrim blade is fairly ridgid. If you hold the sword out parallel to floor, the blade will not droop or sag. The cross section is more "spatulated" for the lack of a better term which helps give it a large COP and makes it easy to cut with as opposed to say an XV that has a more triangular cross section. It's very forgiving in the cut. I hope that helps.
