For Sale: Del Tin 2070 - Dark Ages Sword [SOLD]
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

From Aaron's "hijacked" post -

I have a Del Tin Dark Ages sword that I have been artificially "aging" (adding a patina to the blade and "greening" the bronze) that I have decided to let go of.

http://albion-swords.com/swords/deltin/sword-dt2070.htm

I will post pictures tonight. The blade has taken a nice, if not completely even, walnut colored patina and even the bronze has "gone green" in spots. I used a spray mixture of salt/vinegar to "age" the blade. Otherwise, the blade is in the same condition that I received it and is, unusual for a DT, sharp.

Am asking $400 (+ shipping/insurance), but will consider outright trades and or trades with cash.

Cheers!

Here are the pics - sorry for the quality.

There is NO surface rust on the blade. The blade has taken a "glassy brown" patina that looks much better in person than in the photos.

I did my best to age the bronze, and got some "greening" but not a complete patina. If the buyer wishes, I will remove the green before shipping.

The leather on the hilt received a bit of unintended aging when the salt/vinegar solution got under the plastic wrap. I will rewrap with a gold elk leather if the buyer wishes.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
