Hi there:
I picked up this Scottish dirk from the forums here a few months ago with the intent to wear it with my formal kilt outfit. I have since figured out that it's a really BIG dirk and just too menacing to be packing about in modern society. It's a beautiful piece, though with polished bone handle and brass fittings. I've attached pics of a dirk that was reviewed here (not mine specifically), but they are nearly identical. The only differences would be that the metal parts on the scabbard of mine are steel instead of brass, and I ahve added a wide belt hanger to the scabbard so that it can be worn.
I have used this piece only for display and it is in flawless condition. The weight is beautiful and I believe it to be highly historically accurate. I'd like $400 for it. I'll pay for shipping in the CONUS and Paypal fees. International shipping will be at actual cost.
