Hey guys
I put my H/T custom longsword up for sale. I bought a replacement blade any made my own grip for it.
Read the story and see pics here:

That's what the production sword looks like:

Let me tell you, it's a very nice sword. We all know how good the H/T blades are and I made a very functional grip for it. The sword is in great condition, I blended the secondary bevel in so it has a nice appleseed edge now and is paper cutting sharp. The grip is wonderfully tight, guard and pommel are wedged in place and then securely hot peened, just the way Albion assembles their swords (I tell you, it was not fun to stand in the shop and keep filing and filing for hours until the parts fit). Grip is made out of thick leather with a leather over cord wrap which is very comfortable. If anything on this sword breaks, it's not going to be the handle.
The sword makes a beautiful ring during cutting. This speaks well of the tightness of the grip. I've done a bit of pell work and I have no doubts about the durability of this sword.
The blade has some scuffs from cutting but no nicks, scratches... I'm going to polish it before I ship it so expect to find a fine satiny finish on the blade, much nicer than the corse Hanwei finish these blade usually come with.
About handling... well, the original handles very well, read Mike's review of it. This one handles just the same way, PoB and feeling is the same since I used the original sword from my friend to figure out weight of the pommel, etc. So be assured that it handles very nicely. It has very good tip control, just like a XVIII should have.
Even though it is a XVIII it cuts amazingly well. I had no problems cuttting trough wet newspaper rolls with wooden cores. See yourself:

I live in Germany, so I ask 360$ for sword and delivery in Europe. For shipping to the US add 20$ since I'd ask the buyer to cover half the costs. If you think that's too expensive we might be able to work something out. I'm not looking for trades unless you got an Albion or ATrim that I like ;D
If you want to see additional pics, just let me know. Shoot me a pm if you're interested.

Price dropped to 360$ shipped to the US. Still includes tsuba/tsuka. Come on guys! This is a great sword, some consider the H/T longsword to be the best longsword available unless you gor for a true ATrim, Albion, etc. This version is at least as good as the standart model. You'd like it!

Alright... price dropped to 275$. Can't and won't go lower. I know this is expensive if you can get a CSS sword for not that much more, but I put too much money, time and effort into this sword to sell it for the regular price. I do understand if nobody wants to pay that price. If there are no takers one week from now, I'll just remove it.
