Hello,
i am offering a custom German Bastard sword for sale. Visit Reliks to see the sword in it's original shape and for all the stats.

A brief description of the work/changes made to the sword. First, the blade, guard and pommel were antiqued, the blade was sharpened (razor sharp, ready for cutting) and a fuller was added to it's both sides.

Second, i didn't like the original handle that came with the sword, it was too bulky and wrapped with imitation leather (i can't stand imitation, i accept real leather only), so, two complete new handles were crafted to fit the tang. First handle is a simple, cone shape, wood core covered with real Canadian leather, spiral wrap over two risers pattern, finished in a deep cherry, antiqued , gloss stain. Second handle is a bit more creative, the shape is closer to the stock handle, wood core covered with a custom designed, spiral real Canadian leather wrap over spiral risers, finished in a two-tone, antiqued cherry gloss stain. The original handle is included and comes with this package, there is a 1/4" tear in the imitation leather, can be glued back together, i didn't bother, since the 2 new handles are much better, and no-one would probably go back to the stock one anyway.

Third, the scabbard that came with the sword was pretty good, but again, it was wrapped with horrible imitation leather, i cannot stand that, so a makeover was neccessary. The imitation leather was stripped off, and the wood core (very good quality wood core by the way), was custom wrapped with real, strong , quality Canadian leather hide, finished in antique cherry stain, a custom leather suspension system was made for the sword, real USA tanned , quality leather was used for that. The scabbard is decorated with 3 large cross conchos, the belts have decorative stamps and studs applied to them, the buckle is a heavy duty roller type and is antiqued as well. The scabbard fittings have been custom shaped and antiqued as well. The suspension is a very large (2XL), it was designed to fit over bulky armour, if u have a smaller waist, u will have to do some alterations.

This is a great sword, and is a custom one of a kind creation. I am asking $300us for this package, and like it says in the title, shipping is free for Canada / USA, most states and provinces.
