The item is an attempt to reconstruct a 13-14 century European dagger from the illustration (attached
as one of the photos). This is not mass-produced item and was created as an artist project.
Original in the Museum of German History, Berlin

Summary:
Can be sharpened if requested.
High carbon steel with 1% chromium, 1% silicon and 0.6% carbon
Mirror polished, hand forged blade
Full tang. Tang was made a little longer than a wooden handle, then a washer
was put at the end of the tang, and tang end was flattened like a rivet
and covered with a pommel piece.

All the fittings are made from sterling silver (92.5%) silver.
Total weight of silver parts is 126 gram (4.4445 ounces).

The handle is made from a single block of 78-year-old walnut tree.
Multiple layers of hot bees wax were authentically applied to seal the wood.
Only natural, bone-based glue was used.

Scabbard is made from a hand-tanned pigskin painted by natural oak bark paint. The scabbard consists of
two “socks” one inside the other with a single stitching. The leather have been treated with hot bees wax
and decorated with sterling silver fittings.

Limited time offer,
Free engraving of your coat of arms or monogram on the blade.
