I am selling this custom dirk by Mike McRae. It is 19 1/2" overall. This is an early style dirk with a 15 1/4" brass backed blade. There are a few small "pits" were the brazing didn't fill the void prepared for it on the spine of the blade. Also, it you look closely enough, there are what appear to be 2-3 hairline cracks running through the brazing. These "flaws" are simply a part of the manufacturing process, and are not due to any damage or abuse to the blade. The brazing is absolutely solid.

The hilt is carved with 2 bands of know work and 3 triquetra on each side of the haunches. Brass pommel cap and file decorated capstan. Comes with an unadorned heavy leather sheath.

This dirk is in "new" condition. Although it would cost $450 new from the maker, I am asking $350 plus $15 shipping in CONUS for a quick sale. PayPal preferred (I'll pay the PayPal fees).
