The thinning of the collection continues! For sale this time is a two-handed Renaissance "sall d'armes" sword made by Rod Casteel's Colonial Armory.This sword has been out of production for over a decade and weapons by Colonial Armory are very difficult to find.
Steel furniture, quillons are blued. Spiral wrapped brown leather handle with matching leather glued on ricasso. Overall length, 51 1/2"; blade 38 1/2"; quillon width 10 3/4"; handle 12" including pommel.
Condition: used but in good condition, some minor nicks from fencing and stage combat use on foible and forte, minor scoring on quillons and pommel. It's a light, sweet-handling weapon.
