For sale is a truly beautiful type 2 Schiavona made by Windlass for Museum Replicas. From what I can tell no one company offers these for sale anymore so take advantage while you can. There are other Schiavonas of comparable beauty available, but at often more then double the price.

Handling is very maneuverable and comfortable....a great cut and thrust sword. Overall condition is excellent with the hilt having a just slightly darkened patina, but still very bright. blade is superb with the original proofing (it looks like scratches in the pics, its just the initial preservative coating). Blade is super sharp and comes with sheath that does have some light wear as this was one of my personal pieces for more then 20 years.
