Up for sale is this wide bladed viking sword made by Michael Pikula. Michael's talent is impressive. I don't believe he still makes swords so this is a rare opportunity to get some of his work. The sword is 37 inches overall with a 30.5 inch blade, blade with at hilt is 2.5 inches and it handles like a dream. The grip is carved antler bound with silver wire, the pommel is period correct 2 part construction with silver wire between the pommel and pommel bar and between the individual lobes. Included is a wood core leather covered scabbard and integral belt made with period 3 point suspension and cast silver fittings from a third party. Michael made the chape to match the fittings. Asking $2000 plus shipping.
