European/Continental Officer Walloon Sword 17-18th cent

A very rare XVII-XVIIIth cent Walloon or Haudegen sword, much likely for infantry officers.
Leather-like handle wrapped with brass wire; iron hilt with pierced framework which has a damaged shell (hole made by severe impact).
Blade cleaned but unmarked, very minor wear and tear for its age.

overall: 37''/95cm
blade: 32''/81cm
