One of my first swords but sadly its time has come to move it on.
I re-gripped it in a lighter brown. This is one of my first grips. In addition I did a bit of file work at the ends of the cross to give it a little something more interesting and smoothed out the pointy edges of the pommel. Its very clean and tight. A fine sword.
The scabbard is hand made by me. Wood core lined with felt. Very smooth and snug fit. It's one of my favorite scabbards I ever made, it really turned out nice. Back is stitched and it comes with an integrated suspension.
Blade is butter knife sharp but has all the right geometry, just needs to be fine tuned. I cut a gallon jug with it with the current edge, had to hit it hard mind you but it went right through, so the edge is right, but by no means is the edge sharp....if that makes sense.
Asking $415 shipped.
