Selling a Polish cavalry sword M1822
The Polish Army bought many French 1822 swords they then modified by removing the branches and shortening the blades.
The hilt, blade and scabbard are in clean condition but unfortunately the hilt has a light rattling.
Markings on the branch and the back of the blade is marked Mfture Rale de Klingenthal Juin 1832 S.A. (iron tang); the inspection stamps are for controller J. Bisch (1830-34) and director Colliot de la Hattais (March 1832 to January 1834).
