I have a 19th century briquet sabre for sale. Features a solid one-piece brass hilt with an unusual peen block. The single edged, curved and fullered blade has a few nicks and would probably benefit from cleaning as it has a fairly dark patina with some patches of inactive rust. There is very slight movement in the hilt, but this is overall a fast, light, handy little sword that would make a nice display piece with a bit of TLC.
