Asking 225USD plus shipping. Need it sold asap, so I'll entertain offers.
In good condition, missing the wiring but the grip and pommel are very tight. The guard has a very slight movement, but it isn't very noticeable. There is some slight chipping in the horn near the top of the grip. This doesn't effect anything as far as durability goes.
The blade is straight with no nicks, bends, or twists. Point is slightly dulled due to age, but there is more than enough material to restore it and make it very acute if it's wanted.
The floral design of the hilt and guard is very well executed, being robust enough for combat of the period but still beautiful in application.
Handling - wise, the sword is very much a workman blade. It has the power of a cavalry sabre but the size of an infantry officer sabre, the grip is well suited the blade, and can comfortably seat the hand for drill and "other use"
