An unknown German or Belgian cavalry sword, very similar to the 1822 LC French model. No markings on blade or hilt to identify it exceot regimental markings on the hilt P.A.B.13 and what looks like a small faint stamp underneath.
Double ring scabbard. Brass wire missing on leather grip, slightly bent branches, weird hole on the hilt (shrapnel?) and several traces of extensive sharpening + nicks on blade. Looks like it saw considerable action in its life!
