For sale is my beloved Hanger Sword made by Old Dominion Forge. Blade is high carbon steel with a sweeping fuller three quarters along the back edge, with a 6" false edge. Hilt is also steel, with a clamshell guard and steel peened pommel. Handle is European Red Stag. Knuckle guard is 4" on inside. Overall length is 31.5", blade is 26.5". Scabbard is period correct brown leather, sewn up the backside, with a brass frog finger and brass chape. Sword also includes a custom made baldric in brown leather with a blackened iron buckle. Adjusts to fit a large variety of sizes. Overall, the sword and rig is in excellent, almost new condition.
