Selling one very scarce 1816 model sword for French Line cavalry (dragoons, cuirassiers). The worthy successor to the famed Napoleonic cuirassier sword, this is one of the mightiest military swords ever!
Blade with the 3 inspectors stamps and Klingenthal dated 1822 signature of Klingenthal dated 1822 on the back of blade. The hilt has the same matching no. G47 as the scabbard.
Double ring scabbard. VG condition but stains on the blade, the rest is in superb shape.
