Hilt, blade, and grip are all very tight, the wiring is tight for half of the grip then loosens up, but not to a severe degree, it still functions. Handles very well, doesn't feel like a super light wimpy dress sword, feels like it good give a good cut or thrust. Scabbard fits very tight and still has some grease in it, similar to the grease you find in old bayonet scabbards, scabbard also has most of it's original black paint still on it, byt has a very typicAL bend in it, but thay doesn't affect its performence. The brass hilt is without scratches and has very clear markings on it, blade is straight, has a good tip, no nicks or waviness in the edge and has some blackened corrosion on it, but it's not overpowering the blade at all, still looks very nice. Made by Alexander Coppel in Solingen, very storied maker and company, particularly turbulent during WW2. Asking 150USD shipped or would trade for a Cold Steel 1852 Sabre.
