Well recently medical events have sunk home the fact that I am getting older and it is time to relinquish my time as caretaker for some works of art that I had never seen myself letting go to a new home.
I have this incredible sword by my favorite smith, Petr Florianek. He must be my favorite smith as I have six of his works. Swords made by Petr are exceedingly rare. This is one of the very few in existence. Probably my favorite sword.. It is sharp and never cut with or sharpened, except by Petr. Any marks on the blade came that way. It is a beautiful weapon based on a sword from eastern Europe from around the 9-10 century, I think.
The blade is 32 inches long and it is a fast good handling sword. This is not an Albion, but a handmade sword from a master craftsman. There are minor marks in the blade showing it is handmade. The fittings have been allowed to age.
Price is $2400 fully insured and shipped. I would prefer a check or Postal money order, but paypal is OK if sent without fees attached.
