I am selling my Macdonald Armoury Marine Recon (Fairbairn Sykes Pattern 2) Dagger.
This is an authentic reproduction made by Paul Macdonald in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I received this knife last Summer after about an 18 month wait list.
Just recently, I received another knife I commissioned from him, which I prefer, so I am selling this to offset the balance.

The balance is wonderful and is on the middle finger as it should.
The steel is RWL-34 Stainless with a stainless guard and threaded tang.
There are no gaps at the guard, allowing no water to pass through.
The leather sheath is another remarkable show of craftsmanship.
The guard and blade have a gun kote application provided by Mr. Macdonald.
Blade is 7" long.

There are some nicks on the brass handle and steel guard from use and the blade has been used for cutting tests, but maintains a remarkable edge.

In all, a wonderful reproduction of a historical fighting knife.
