Hi all,
I have two swords up for sale/trade. I am happy to post internationally.
Cold Steel Gim
The sword is in good condition but unfortunately the inside of the scabbard has rubbed against the mirror polished blade and has created a few scuff/rub marks. (wouldn't mind a Hanwei Godfred for this)
£210 / $327 / €290
Antique Ottoman Yataghan
The handle is made out of wood, which is extremely unusual for this type and has a glass jewel imbedded at the top. On one side of the blade is a silverish inlay, and on the other side is a golden one. The sword is light and fast but has a good punch to it as Yataghans tend to. The length denotes that this would had been for infantry with the scabbard being pushed through the belt sash. Structurally the sword is good as it is very solid with no rattles but due to the age there are spots of inactive rust and pitting on the blade. By my reckoning the sword would had been made in the mid to late 1800's.
£330 / $513 / €456
