I just received the sword from Bill (William Swiger) today and while i was opening the box i cut myself and ended up in ER even before i could handle the sword. 3 stitches on top of my middle finger. I wasn`t expecting the tip to be wide open inside box and i wasn`t careful so i put my hand in the box and pulled out cut. This is the first sword i ever purchased without a scabbard or sheath so i guess i know what not to do next time.
So eventho i loved the way it looks, handles; i see this as a bad omen and am putting it up to sale right away.
I cleaned it, oiled it and wrapped it up with stretch film and secured the tip so whoever buys it won`t be unlucky as i am eventho if you don`t pay enough attention.
Sword is in very good condition. I can`t say excellent there is a scratch close to the end of the blade and few other noticable scratches close to the tip but nothing looks cosmetically bad. At least to me. No rusts nothing. Obvioulsy well taken care of.
