Well this was certainly on my “never sell” list, but I have enjoyed it for several years and don’t want it to meet an uncertain fate in the Philippines.

This was the first of several items Petr made for me. It is a Lang sax with a blade just under 18 inches, about 27.5 overall.
The handle is wood, bone, (possibly antler, I can’t recall” and a brass band that says Petr made me in runes.

This was the original Danelaw, but the name was recycled later.

The scabbard was made by Petr, the suspension by me. It has lived in a display case and is in the same condition as I received it. As some of you know, I had a large collection of seax, from most of the famous makers, and this was by far my favorite. Beautiful workmanship, but well handling in addition.

It is shown with a sword to give a visual display of the size.

Price is $1250 , by Paypal without fees and I will ship it in the US. At this price point, insurance is more than shipping.

I want it to find a home on the forums before ebay
