I purchased this Dynasty Forge 1095-high carbon Musashi-themed monosteel from
another individual several years ago and planned to have it semi-customized by a
friend who, unfortunately and sadly ( because he was very talented ) passed away.
The sword was returned to me without the tsuka ( grip ) being re-wrapped. The blade
is 30-inches long, with a bohi and beautiful hamon; and in splendid condition. The saya
( sheath ) has a small nick about 1/4-inch long and a few shallow scratches along its
lower third. I will include the red cotton ito my friend wound around the original tsuka
core, menuki ( ornaments under the wrap ), and kashira ( pommel ). These items will
be loose. The tsuba ( hilt ) is still on the blade. I will also include the original sageo as
well as a new brown sageo with the shitadome ( eyelettes the sageo passes through ).
Asking price : $ 400 ( money order preferred, but we can discuss other options as
well ).
I would prefer to ship within the USA, but will discuss and investigate shipping costs
to another country. Be advised, however, the buyer should investigate customs and
duty fees on his / her end.
