Hello,
I am moving out for work and have decided to sell part of my collection to help finance the adventure. So I am offering them here to fellow collectors before putting them on ebay.
I have here a nice example of a late 18th century German hunting sword. The blade has some pitting and a bit of wear but is in sound shape with no active corrosion. The handle is made of striped ebony with an ivory cap. The guard of brass has a green man motif on its shell-shaped rain guard with a fiddlehead fern quillon. The other seems to have been cut down, perhaps intentionally.
Probably the only sword that my girlfriend would have wished I kept!
I ask 400$, negotiable.
