Hi all, I have another piece for sale. This one is a Windlass "Late Medieval Soldier's Sword." It's a very nice sword, definitely the nicest Windlass I've personally ever handled. I bought it second hand and it is sharpened, but I don't know who did the sharpening. It has a noticeable secondary bevel but is well done, sharp and even. There are some very light scratches on the blade either from the sharpening or cutting. The grip and sheath were stripped and dyed green. The grip is a little darker than the sheath.
I am asking for $200 plus shipping. I am open to reasonable offers as well. Payment via paypal with no extra charges. If you are interested or have any questions please PM me here.
Here are the stats:
Overall length: 39.25 inches
Blade Length: 32.5 inches
Blade width at guard: 1.6 inches
Point of Balance: 5 inches from guard
Weight: 2.42 pounds

Thanks for looking,
Alan
Price drop, now $175 plus shipping.
Bump. I also should mention that this sword does not exhibit any of the "whippiness" that is often associated with Windlass pieces. The blade is pretty stiff and does not droop when held out horizontally.
Thanks,
Alan
