Hi!

I started a small business and would like to sell this antique to help support the start up.
I am saddened to let go such cool pieces of history but it is well worth it!
If you do buy it, promise to take good care of it because it is special.

I bought this in the Spring from an antique dealer in my area. It is extremely detailed!
I have no documentation but am more then happy to verify authenticity if you have
somewhere you know of that we can bring this to.

The wrap and leather are genuine and are in great condition, I'm surprised fabric held so well.

NOTE: I have never touched the blade (obviously) and the sword stayed in the leather wrap
until I took these photos, and have since placed it back.

From what I know:
This is a ceremonial sword, is from a Chicago smither, and has the following inscriptions:

"GF Foster & Co
Chicago Il"

"Jos D. Crawford"
