Hate to even consider letting this one go, but I'm offering my custom, one-of-a-kind Albion Caithness-hilted Mad Piper hybrid Halflang sword. Donnie Shearer made this for me as a special favor, one night when I was a guest at his home. The hilt parts are from an Albion Caithness Scottish sword a client wanted the blade from. The grip has been made into a hand-and-a-half length, and the very light, thin cutting blade was mounted to the hilt in a way that it looks like it was designed for it. The sword is the same original length as a stock Caithness, but handles much more quickly. Overall length is 40", blade is 31", grip is 5.5" - 6" (if you count the swell of the cross). Comes with an old MRL made Del Tin sheath cut down to fit like a glove. All black leather to match the grip. Weight is about 2.25 - 2.5 lbs. Asking $500 or best offer, plus shipping.
