For any of you Jacobites out there, this is the musker carried by the Hessian troops hired by George II during the 1745 rebellion and who were stationed in Scotland. This musket is preety well made but was manufactured in India. It is new in the box and ordinarily sells for $550-$595. I will ship it to you lower 49 for $450. This is a little esoteric, true, but a very good representation of a long arm that was used in Scotland during the last hurrah. Here is a link to a picture of a very similar item : http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categories/part...um=AAH-843
Bump. Want an unusual piece for your 1754-46 persona? This is it. Hessian mercenaries deployed to Scotland during the '45 carried this type of musket.
