In person the sword’s hilt assembly has a slightly time-worn look. The silver casting has multiple tiny imperfections in the surface that make it look either old or at least well-antiqued. The silver under the wire has tarnished slightly. The area under the guard, where the blade inserts, is a bit rough on one side. It’s definitely not the ultra-smooth, brand new look of many of the Albion pieces. Some people will see this as conferring an authenticity or historical feel the typical production models lack, and others may see it as a flaw, but it's worth mentioning.
Overall, it's a striking weapon, with the silver taking on a much softer, warmer sheen in sunlight than the colder, almost blue gray of the steel. Truly one of a kind.
Priced to sell, at $1575, which includes the sword with custom silver hilt/ pommel, and reindeer hide scabbard with belt, shipped & insured (within the continental US).

Hi,
I'm putting this back up for sale.
While many photos are available at the link provided above, I'll take the opportunity to post one here of the reindeer hide scabbard. (I'm sorry, less "atmosphere" to be sure, but should suffice.)
Thanks.
