This is the newer version, with the tapering type XII blade rather than the parallel X blade. Its not a lightweight, but its quite sharp and handles pretty well. It has an oxeblood grip with cord underwap and looks just like this:

I am just selling the sword (not scabbard). I bought it a few months ago because the scabbard happened to fit one of my custom swords, so the sword itself is unused and has just been sitting lonely in my closet.

PS - for people outside of Canada, in case you are wondering, my understanding is that customs charges are based on your local state taxes - but I've shipped at least 10 such swords to USA and so far no one has mentioned having any problems with customs tax.
