This is an original hardcover of Records of the Medieval Sword, not a rebinding of a paperback. The hardcover was only printed once. Newer printings of the paperback version use digitized images of lesser quality than in the older printings. And the paperback bindings tend to fall apart.
In short, this copy has better images and is more solidly constructed than what is available now.
This edition is rare. Searching for it online finds many paperback editions mislabeled as hardcover ones. When you find true hardcover editions, they start at $235 (plus shipping from Europe often) and go up from there.
This copy is in good shape with pretty minor scuffs around the binding indicative of age and use.
Asking $220 + shipping and any fees.
The perfect Christmas present for yourself or someone who loves swords. :)

This book is still available. This is the lowest price on the internet that I've found by $15 or so.
It's not too late to own this great book in the best binding/edition out there. :)
Interesting trade offers will be entertained, too.
Still available. :) Got Christmas money burning a hole in your pocket? This is a great gift to self.
You're worth it. :)
